Summary
The five types in Human Design – Manifestor, Generator, MG, Projector, Reflector – and how their strategy works in daily life.
The Five Types in Human Design
In Human Design there are five energy types (often four main types are named; the Generator Manifesting is sometimes counted separately). Your type comes from your bodygraph: which centers are defined, and how they are connected.
Manifestor
Strategy: To Inform.
Manifestors can initiate and have a closed, repelling aura. They impact others without being “open” themselves. Their strategy is to inform others before acting – this reduces resistance.
Generator
Strategy: Wait and respond to your inner authority.
Generators have an open, enveloping aura and defined sacral energy. They are the “life force” of the system. They are not meant to initiate but to respond to opportunities and act from the sacral response (yes/no).
Generator Manifesting (Manifesting Generator)
Strategy: Same as Generator – wait and respond.
The MG combines sacral power with the ability to initiate quickly. They can bring things into the world when they first wait for their sacral response.
Projector
Strategy: Wait for the invitation.
Projectors have no motor connection to the throat. They are here to guide and direct others. They should not initiate but wait for the invitation – in work, relationship and life.
Reflector
Strategy: Wait 28 days (one lunar cycle) before major decisions.
Reflectors have no constantly defined centers and mirror their environment. They need time and the right environment to reach clear decisions.
Type and Daily Life
Your type determines how you best interact with the world: whether you initiate or wait, whether you inform or get invited. Cosmic Radar’s daily recommendations take your type into account so you can apply your strategy in everyday life.
