Summary
The 12 profiles in Human Design – conscious and unconscious lines, life theme and role.
What is a Profile in Human Design?
The profile consists of two numbers (e.g. 1/3, 4/6). The first number is the conscious (personality) line, the second the unconscious (design) line. Together they describe how you move through life and what theme accompanies you.
The 6 Lines (Brief)
- 1 – Investigator: Needs solid foundation, investigation.
- 2 – Hermit: Natural gift that wants to be “called.”
- 3 – Martyr: Learning through trial and error, experiments.
- 4 – Opportunist: Networker, friendships, fixed base.
- 5 – Heretic: Universal projections, generalist.
- 6 – Role Model: Three phases – trial, experiment, maturity (on the roof).
Examples
- 1/3 – Investigator/Martyr: You investigate and learn by trying things out.
- 4/6 – Opportunist/Role Model: You use your network and go through three life phases.
- 2/4 – Hermit/Opportunist: Withdrawal and natural authority through relationships.
Profile and Daily Life
Your profile is woven into the daily reading: whether you’re better off investigating, inviting or waiting today – and how you resonate with others.
